The dust has settled on what can only be described as an exceptional Blue Light Show 2025, and the HeroQuip team is still buzzing from the incredible response we received at Stand N10. Over the two days at Olympia London on June 18-19, we had the privilege of connecting with thousands of dedicated professionals from across the emergency services sector, and the enthusiasm for innovation in protective equipment was truly inspiring.
Huge Interest in Next-Generation Equipment
The show created incredible interest in our latest product innovations. Our new lightweight body armour systems gained particular attention throughout both days, with frontline officers and procurement teams alike very impressed by the enhanced protection-to-weight ratio performance. This engineering breakthrough, allowing officers to maintain optimal mobility while ensuring comprehensive protection clearly resonated with professionals who understand the critical balance between safety and operational effectiveness.
Equally impressive was the response to our newly developed cargo trousers specifically engineered for police, fire and ambulance services. After extensive consultation with serving officers across all three services, we’ve created garments that address the operational challenges faced during extended shifts, and the feedback on what we’ve achieved was overwhelmingly positive.

Our partnership with INVISIO to showcase their cutting-edge communication systems proved to be one of the exhibition highlights. The crystal-clear audio quality and robust design of these professional-grade headsets generated significant attention from operational teams looking to enhance coordination and safety during critical incidents, demonstrating how superior communication technology can be a game-changer in high-pressure situations.

Expert Insights on Public Order Equipment
A particular highlight of the show was the expert and engaging presentation delivered by our Business Development Director, Fred Trevvett, speaking alongside a Police Public Order Lead. Their session, “Learnings from Summer 2024 – Is Public Order PPE Fit for Purpose?” drew attentive audiences across both speaking slots in the Collaborative Procurement Zone.
The presentation provided a comprehensive review of the summer of 2024 disorder events and examined how public order PPE has evolved over the past three decades, outlining product innovations designed to enhance officer welfare and protection while maintaining operational effectiveness during extended deployments.
